I'm happy to announce the official music video release of my latest project with the band: CHENCHA for their song "The Devils Dance Floor".
This project started in late 2017 in which the band and I gathered ideas around a pit fire. It was somewhat of an urban legend that turned into a story the band and I made our own. I sketched out a storyboard, made some adjustments to it and booked a shoot date! Everyone excited we're taking their music videos to another level (literally, haha), I rented out a top floor of a building in Downtown Los Angeles using peerspace, which turned out amazing! We setup, and shot the video in just under 6 hours.
I focused on editing in the weeks to come and invited the band over to take a sneak peek. We're all on the same page, our storyboard definitely kept things on track. Came across a few hard drive errors, but thankfully I've learned earlier in my career to backup twice, phew! A new request came in for an introduction scene, which I felt actually helped tell the story a bit more.
Well today is the day, premiering on Valentine's Day! I hope you enjoy, and stay tuned (or should I say tombed, hehe) for part 2 of this music video.
